Terms of service

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use Sutrix for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for it. Sutrix initially offers contracted services to United States customers. A non-U.S. engagement is available only when Sutrix expressly accepts it in a written engagement agreement.

Sutrix, Inc. produces statistical analysis deliverables from study data you provide: cleaned datasets, reports, tables, figures, and methods text. Scope, pricing, and timelines for paid engagements are set in the individual engagement agreement, which governs if it conflicts with these terms.

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by Sutrix.

You retain all rights to the data you upload. You give Sutrix the limited permission needed to host, process, reproduce, and transform that data solely to provide, secure, and support the service.

You own engagement-specific deliverables once required fees are paid, excluding Sutrix's pre-existing software, methods, templates, and general know-how. You are responsible for having authority to share the data, including any institutional or IRB approvals.

Deliverables support research and are not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for professional judgment. Your team remains responsible for verifying results before publication, regulatory submission, or clinical use. Do not use Sutrix as the sole basis for decisions about a person's care or safety.

Do not upload data you lack the right to share, attempt to re-identify study participants, or use the service to violate applicable law or research regulations.

Do not upload protected health information or other specially regulated data unless Sutrix has expressly approved the engagement and any required data-processing, business-associate, security, or institutional agreement is in place.

Fees, payment timing, taxes, cancellation terms, refunds, and changes in scope are governed by the applicable engagement agreement or order. If none exists, no paid work begins until scope and price are accepted in writing.

Sutrix and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, branding, documentation, and general improvements. These terms do not grant a right to copy, reverse engineer, resell, or create a competing service from Sutrix technology except where applicable law does not permit that restriction.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and deliverables are provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that every error or research finding will be detected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Sutrix's aggregate liability arising from an engagement will not exceed the fees paid or payable for that engagement during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.

You may stop using the service at any time. Sutrix may suspend or end access for a material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or nonpayment, with notice when reasonably practicable. Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, payment, disclaimers, and liability limits, will survive.

Delaware law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless an engagement agreement provides otherwise, disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and each party consents to their jurisdiction. Mandatory protections under the law where you live remain unaffected.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent to supra@sutrix.ai.
